Hire Resolves client, is currently seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer for a leading steel manufacturing company based in the Western Cape. As a Junior Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment used in the steel manufacturing process. In this position, you will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all machinery and equipment are functioning optimally and perform regular inspections to identify potential issues. You will also assist in implementing preventive maintenance programs and participate in troubleshooting and resolving equipment breakdowns. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electro - Mechanical Engineering Completed maintenance engineering modules Practical experience in milling, lathe operations, CNC , welding and CAD Utilise CAD software for design and analysis purposes Proficient in Microsoft Excel Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in the steel manufacturing industry Knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and techniques Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Benefits Hire Resolve is a top-tier recruitment firm that focuses on placing skilled professionals in permanent employment.
