Busy and prominent Pretoria landmark has an opportunity for an ambitious junior maintenance supervisor to join their team Key areas of responsibility include but are not limited to; Preventative maintenance Admin & budgeting Operations & supervision JOB KNOWLEDGE: Working knowledge of the following specialities preferred: Tools – use and upkeep Project Management Working knowledge of the following fields preferred: Quality control Plumbing Electrical Painting Carpentry Air Conditioning JOB RELATED SKILLS: Good at working with your hands; physical stamina and strength. Be detail-oriented, excel in problem-solving situations. Working with power tools. General Maintenance Procedures Preventative Maintenance Operations General Handyman Able to organise a team. Managing people and processes Project planning and workflow management MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Min 3 years’ experience in Supervisory position preferably in the hospitality or similar industry Grade 12 or Trade Certification/Formal Qualification a requirement PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS Reliable, Teamwork, Communicating Must be able to work long hours, night shifts and weekends to meet with operational requirements.
