Junior O&M Portfolio Manager - Johannesburg

JOB TITLE : Junior O&M Portfolio Manager MANAGER : Lead O&M Portfolio Manager LOCATION: Johannesburg ROLE OVERIEW: The Junior Utility Portfolio Manager reports into the Lead Utility Portfolio Manager and is expected to be independent and able to direct their own work and priorities. The role is responsible for ensuring that all reporting will run smoothly each month. The successful incumbent will be a central part of the team, ensuring all utility related documentation from clients, utility technicians and other Terra Firma Solutions teams is kept up to date within the utility team. This is to ensure that all monthly reporting can run within agreed SLA’s. The main duty of the Junior Utility Portfolio Manager would be to run reports each month and ensure that all preparations are done so that the client receives reports on time and of the highest standard. Any issues preventing reporting from running need to be communicated to the relevant department. Should clients require ad-hoc reports within an SLA, this role needs to be able to use tools at their disposal to build and with the Lead Utility Portfolio Manager report the results to the client. The successful incumbent will be responsible to ensure that the setup of Utility sites is done correctly and that clients have access to their reporting dashboards. QUALIFICATION: Matric (Grade 12) PREFERRED SKILLS: Advanced Excel Experience in Utility billing Knowledge of metering reticulation Good understanding of municipal tariffs and bylaws Energy and water efficiency drivers Office 365 Administrative skills Client interaction skills EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum 3 years working experience in utilities or other highly administrative roles Good understanding of electricity and water tariffs in South Africa (Desirable) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Utility Management on Copper (Electricity Monitoring Software) Manage setting up of utility sites on Copper Manage setting up client dashboards on Copper First-line quality controlling metering setup from Projects Maintaining Utility reports Tenant schedules Meter schedules Premises schedules Engaging with client should there be missing information Monthly Reporting Run monthly reports for utility clients First line Quality Control of reports Ensure on-time delivery of reports Ensuring tariffs are correctly applied Ad-hoc reporting Proactive signaling correct department to resolve issues found in reports Documentation Collecting documentation from clients Collating documents in a format usable by the team Capturing documentation generated by Utility Technicians Compiling documentation for Projects teams Get signoff of documentation from Lead O&M Portfolio Manager Apply Now
