Drake International Our client in the Food manufacturing industry based in the Montague Gardens area is looking for a Junior Procurement Officer to join their dynamic team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Procurement of direct and indirect materials including placing orders according to weekly replenishment, following up on deliveries, liaising with sales on backorders.Supplier Liaison - make sure that stock is received as ordered and as per agreed product specification.Procurement of consumable/Expense items for Montague Gardens site according to budget.Procurement of Pre-printed stationery & corporate clothing for the company nationally.Switchboard & Procurement backup - as required.Data capturing for stock take.Actively exploring sourcing opportunities to deliver enhanced quality and savings. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification.5 years Procurement/ Procurement admin experience.Competencies: Self-Discipline and Time Management.Planning & Organizing.Problem Solving.Computer Literacy.Quality Focus.
