Junior RF Engineer Gauteng - Gauteng
ROLE PURPOSE We are in search of a proactive Graduate RF Engineer to be a vital part of our engineering team based in our Gauteng division. The role entails providing field application support, transitioning into an RF Product Owner role within the Hiconnex group. This position offers the chance to engage both with customers and suppliers, supporting our dynamic sales team. REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. • Solid understanding of RF engineering principles and practices. • 1-2 years of relevant experience is a plus, particularly in the military, aerospace, or related industries. • Strong team player, with the ability to also work independently. • Resilience to feedback and the ability to maintain a positive demeanour. RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS • Provide field application support for RF-related issues. • Assist in the design and development of new RF products. • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to provide comprehensive engineering support. • Present technical information and product specifications to clients. • Stay updated with the latest RF technologies and industry shifts. COMPETENCIES REQUIREDS • Detailed-oriented approach to tasks. • Strong understanding of RF and related technologies. • Problem-solving aptitude. • Team collaboration and individual initiative. SKILLS • Analytical abilities. • Effective communication, both written and verbal. • Critical thinking for technical challenges. • Diplomatic when interfacing with clients or team members. • Proficient in relevant software and tools related to RF engineering.
