RPO Recruitment’s client is a leading mining company in the Northern Cape. They are urgently seeking the expertise of a Junior Rock Engineer to join their team of professionals in Kathu. The Junior Rock Engineer will assist the team in designing and supporting stable excavations in rock. Responsibilities: Strata control inspections Incident investigation Rock engineering input Geotechnical data Slope stability analysis Monitoring Limit blast quality assurance/ quality control Mining control of special areas Requirements: Grade 12 Degree in Rock Engineering / Geology / Mining Completed at least 2 Rock Mechanics Certificate Modules Strata Control Certificate 7 - 10 years’ strata control experience in an opencast mining environment Benefits: Salary: R800K/yr - R1Mil/yr, salary negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Training & Development Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
