Cape Town based national road freight company specializing in road transport within South Africa and bordering countries is seeking to employ Junior Sales Executive. The company is looking to expand the business by sourcing new clients and contracts to further propel their growth. The Junior Sales Executive must have proven track record of at least 12 months relevant sales experience and will be required to source new business and maintain existing relationships / the retention and taking care of current clients. He / she must have a fair knowledge and understanding of route and break-bulk freight costings. The Junior Sales Executive will be responsible for the sourcing of new business and maintaining existing relationships / taking care of current clients. Person must have Matric / Grade 12, proven track record of 12-month relevant sales experience and competent in Microsoft applications (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook). Person must have excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Afrikaans), drivers licence with reliable transport and own cell phone. Person must preferably be based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. Contactable references essential. Remuneration and company benefits will be discussed during interview.
