Just Grace is a nonprofit organisation based in Langa Township that specialises in empowering communities through sustainable initiatives. Just Grace Education Programme focuses on providing learners from Langa High Schools with support from grade 9 to 12 to help them into suitable FET institutions or employment. Job title: Tutor Location: Langa Township, Cape Town Employmnet type: part-time basis. Remuneration: This is primarily a volunteer position, although there is an incentive of R 50 per hour. Required: living in Langa; passionate about youth development; passionate about teaching; knowledgeable about Mathematics, Physical Sciences and/or Accounting and confident to teach it at a high school level (must have achieved > 60% in Matric Mathematics, Physical Sciences and/or Accounting, or have passed Mathematics, Physical Sciences and/or Accounting at a university level); the ability to teach multiple subjects will be an advantage. Each session is two hours as follows: Tuesday: 15:00 – 17:00 Thursday: 15:00 – 17:00 Saturday: 09:00 – 12:00 Total hours per week: 7 (this may be adjusted).
