Our client, a manufacturer that supplies into Africa, is looking for a Key Account Manager who will be responsible to achieve the agreed targets of sales & profitability for the assigned customers in their region, & to maintain & develop sustainable relationships. You will also be responsible for driving the development & implementation of customers' strategies, & responsible for driving results into the business. Key Performance Areas: Develop & executive the sales strategy to ensure targets are met Maintain sustainable relationships with customers & open up new growth opportunities Hold the ownership for correct pricing & margins, claim handling, payments, & contract negotiations Implement price reviews & have cost recovery models in place Support exceptional quality & product delivery Collect market data & develop the yearly key account budget Understand the market drivers, the deliverables & competitors of the customer. Align these to the strategy of the business Formalization of customer SLA's Frequent visits to customers & prioritize time in front of the customer Control debtors & aged stock Accurate sales forecasting Identify & influence key decision makers in the customers' organizations Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Sales & Marketing, or Business Management Proven sales experience within a printing & packaging manufacturing environment 5 years' experience with large corporate / multinational customer base Project management skills ERP experience & good understanding of processes Budget & resource management Apply Now
