Komatsu South Africa is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager: Mining to join our dynamic organisation situated at our Head Office in Germiston. This role is an all encompassing, one point-of-contact for heavy mining equipment key customer accounts and coordinates/ facilitates stakeholders in all activities from the development of a customer strategy, forecasting & budgeting, tender management, delivery of equipment, resulting in customer satisfaction and generation of new business/sales. Matric Engineering related qualification (NQF 7) Sales & Marketing diploma advantageous 5 years mining experience with formal NQF 7 qualification. 10 years experience if NQF 7 requirement not met. Microsoft Applications SAP SD Salesforce Stays abreast of customer relationship building opportunities Stays abreast of customer issues & business environment along with organizational branding & marketing strategies Monitors customer fleet aging and replacement requirements Interrogates, researches & reports customer performance & opportunities Fostering sound, professional internal organisational relationships & leveraging criticisms to grow own capabilities & improve processes Fostering sound, professional internal organisational relationships & providing feedback to internal stakeholders to improve service delivery Drafts full scope reporting on customers, products, sales, financials & market Increases visibility/presence of the Komatsu brand at customer sites by taking part in market drives Develops a long term customer strategy & stays abreast of commodity pricing, markets & exchange rates Managed & coordinates the delivery of units upon being awarded the tender Participates in the Tender bid process & coordinates the process for modifications Manages & coordinates the delivery of the tender according to the terms Participates & provides input into Greenfield projects Participates in production analyses for application continuous improvement Collates and gathers information for use in sales analyses Coordinates & Monitors compliance to agreements over life cycle of the tender Participates/collaborates in audits & monitors customer payments according to schedule/tender agreements Monitors that sales data is correctly reflected in systems & drafts standard sales reports, leads & monthly invoicing Provides feedback on delivery of equipment according to Tender Reports on outstanding debtors payments & conducts internal quarterly reviews Apply Now
