Global leader in consumer and pharmaceutical flexible packaging seeks to fill the role of Key Account Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving the agreed targets of sales profitability for the assigned customers in the allocated region, to maintain and develop a sustainable relationship with those customers. The Key Account Manager drives the development and implementation of the respective customer's strategy, if existing and for driving results into the business. Develop and execute the Key Account sales strategy to ensure targets are met. Maintain a sustainable relationship with the customer and open new growth opportunities. Hold the ownership for correct pricing and margins, claim handling, payments, and contract negotiations. Responsible for implementing price reviews and to drive and have cost recovery models in place at customer. Drive cost, value added and efficiency initiatives. Support exceptional quality and product delivery. Drive innovation together with Product Management and the customer. Collect market data and develop the yearly key account budget. Work closely with the global Key Account Manager to align Key Account strategy. Responsible for quality of the information that is fed back into the group. Understand the market drivers, the deliverables, and competitors of the customer. Align these to the strategy of the business. Hold the responsibility to communicate and drive timelines/critical paths, samples collection and other tasks in project management. Have ownership for the formalisation of customer Service Level Agreement's. Responsible for pipeline development and this is weekly updated with correct information. Responsible for-profit improvement initiatives at the customer. Understand market synergies, trends and market prices and be responsible for communication of those information back to Enterprise Mobility Management market price database. Responsible for constructive feedback to team members of good and well-done work. Frequents visits to customers and prioritize time in front of the customer. Understand OTIF demands from customer and implement OTIF accordingly. Responsible to develop customer charters for each single customer. Control debtors and aged stock. Responsible for accurate sales forecasting. Matric (Grade 12) Advanced knowledge of Company products Advanced knowledge of Company services Markets: customers, competition, market trends Budgeting Customer processes Principles of company financial management English Sell value. Plan and strategize Negotiate effectively. Demonstrate results for customers. Cultural interpersonal effectiveness Experience and knowledge in the packaging industry Apply Now
