Reference: DBN003477-SS-2A leading pharmaceutical company has a one year contract position for a Lab Information Management Systems (LIMS) Administrator. Job Purpose: Responsible for the LIMS Master set-up and maintenance across all the QC labs (Microbiology and Chemistry). To collect all relevant documentation, to prepare, test, verify, transfer, review, and activate LIMS master data records in the LIMS system. Adhere to relevant documents; including SOPs, specifications and forms to ensure Master Data Load is completed using current documentation. Day to day activities will require you to support customer needs through: Troubleshooting in LIMS, prioritising master preparation according to requirements for the Chemistry and Microbiology Laboratories, initiate master preparation of Working standards, reference standards and chemicals in resource manager, correctly initiate the instrument calibration schedules and maintain LIMS validation Documents. Key Responsibilities:LIMS Customer Support: Identify functional area end user requirements and enhancements following drafting and Review of the Master Data Load in LIMS Loading data for validation and ongoing operations for the applicable functional area Ensure the system master data is updated in a timely manner as required by the functional area. Collaborate with LIMS Administrator Manager to define, document and communicate system developmental needs based on end user feedback/requests Lead application demonstrations and work with end-users to insure user requirements are met Documentation: Maintain required forms for the LIMS system Adhere to relevant documents; including SOPs, specifications and forms to ensure Master Data Load is completed using current documentation Mantain LIMS Validation Documentation GMP/Safety: Adhere to all appropriate levels of cGMP Participate in risk assessments, inspections, audits, incident investigations, etc. and implement all follow-up corrective & preventative measures. Participate and Comply with the Quality Management System requirements. Continuous improvement projects (LIMS) Work together with the LIMS administration Manager on all projects related to LIMS implementation, maintenance and enhancement Work closely with laboratory leadership to define milestones for projects Training: Ensure knowledge of job function is current and in-line with effective training material Develop LIMS training (Train end-users on basic system functionality & SOP’s) Requirements: BSc pharm, National Diploma in Chemistry, Microbiology and or relevant discipline 2-3 years’ Laboratory experience in pharmaceutical within a GMP regulated environment Exposure to laboratory operations, documentation practices, quality systems & technical writing Experience with cGMP, laboratory processes, computer literacy. Experience with a Lab Information Management Systems, workflows and the translation into software requirements would be advantageous Competencies: Must be able to work independently, but also as part of a team Proven ability to Problem Solve/Troubleshoot Strong organization skills, including ability to follow assignments through to completion Strong collaboration skills to assure cross-functional awareness regarding LIMS capabilities and requirements Ability to support multiple users simultaneously High level of organizational skills and have a strong attention to detail Candidates that meet the criteria may submit their applications via this portal or via vacancy link on www.mnarecruitment.comShould you receive no feedback within 7 days, please accept your application as unsuccessful.
