Energy advisory firm looking for a Certified Energy Manager/Auditor to join their team. As the Lead Advisor within the energy advisory business, you will be pivotal in guiding clients towards achieving their sustainability goals by reducing energy consumption and transitioning to cleaner energy sources. Operating within a new entity closely aligned with an established energy and automation Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and distribution group, you will leverage your expertise to provide strategic advice and actionable recommendations to clients across various sectors. Responsibilities: Client Consultation and Relationship Management: Engage with clients to understand their energy usage, sustainability objectives, and decarbonisation targets. Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor. Energy Audit and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive energy audits to assess current energy consumption patterns and identify opportunities for improvement. Analyse energy data and performance metrics to develop tailored strategies for reducing consumption and carbon emissions. Recommendation and Implementation Planning: Develop customised action plans and recommendations to optimise energy usage, increase efficiency, and integrate renewable energy solutions. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design and implement innovative solutions that align with clients' sustainability objectives. Technology and Solution Integration: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and energy efficiency and decarbonisation best practices. Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and solutions to support clients in achieving their sustainability goals. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to track progress towards sustainability targets. Provide regular updates and reports to clients, highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and opportunities for further optimisation. Thought Leadership and Education: Serve as a subject matter expert on energy decarbonisation, sustainability, and environmental regulations. Deliver presentations, workshops, and educational sessions to clients and industry stakeholders to raise awareness and promote best practices. Essential Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in energy consulting, sustainability advisory, or related roles, with a focus on decarbonisation and energy efficiency. In-depth knowledge of energy systems, renewable energy technologies, and energy management principles. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software. Certified Energy Manager / Auditor qualification beneficial. Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
