Advert Reference: P11582 Leaner Lab Assistant-1 (Bloemfontein) Job Title: Leaner Lab Assistant-1 (Bloemfontein) Closing Date: 2024/04/01 Position Available From: 2024-03-26 Area: Bloemfontein Actual Place Of Work: Bloemfontein Position Type: Full-Time Weekly Hours: 40 Time Conditions: 5 day Work Week (South Africa) Purpose of Position: To clean and maintain the laboratory and assist with receiving and preparation of specimens in the laboratory Requirements: Grade 12, HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field, Secretarial certificate or diploma Required Experience: Experience within a pathology environment, Knowledge: Meditech system Key Responsibilities: Clean and maintain laboratory in order to ensure a clean and safe work environment, Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Perform administration tasks in order to ensure effective administration systems in the laboratory, Perform general laboratory tasks in order to ensure the effective functioning of the laboratory, Prepare Cytology specimen in order to ensure efficient processing of specimens in the laboratory, Receive specimens in order to ensure effective and efficient specimen flow in the laboratory Applicants must have a South African ID or a valid South African work permit.
