PND1 LECTURER GRADE 1/PND 2 LECTURER GRADE 2 8 POSTS REF NO: 05523 Directorate: Administration SALARY : Grade 1: R 256 584 – 297 462 per annum (plus benefits) Grade 2: R 315 579 – 411 759 per annum (plus benefits) CENTRE : SG Lourens Nursing College REQUIREMENTS : PND 1 Lecturer Grade 1: Registration with the South African Nursing Council: General Nursing Science and Midwifery/Community and registration in Nursing Education. Minimum of four (4) years of appropriate recognisable nursing experience after registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council in General Nursing. Valid drivers code 08 license. The ability to apply computer technology and programmes Good communication, supervisory, report writing and presentations skills. Ability to work in a team and under pressure. PND 2 Lecturer Grade 2: Registration with the South African Nursing Council: General Nursing Science and Midwifery/Community and registration in Nursing Education. Minimum of ten (10) years of appropriate recognisable experience in Nursing Education after obtaining the one (1) year post-basic qualification in Nursing Education. Valid drivers code 08 license. The ability to apply computer technology and programmes Good communication, supervisory, report writing and presentations skills. Ability to work in a team and under pressure. DUTIES : Work effectively, co-operatively with students and ensure effective and successful education and training of student nurses, in both theory and clinical development. Ensure availability for student guidance and support. Support the mission of the College by serving on Committees, attending and participating in meetings and College activities. Promote the image of the College. Participate in research to nursing education. Develop, review and evaluate curricular.
