Novus Print: Montague Gardens is currently seeking to permanently appoint an individual, with knowledge and experience in an FMCG printing environment to take on the role of a Lithography Web Offset Printer to operate machinery within the Press Department. The successful incumbent will report to the Shift Leader - Press. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for preparation, running (printing of magazines and commercial work), fault finding of Web Offset printing presses. Colour and registration control of Web Offset printing presses. Operate the printing press at set production rates and standards. Preventative maintenance Maintain general health and safety standards in the production environment Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained Key Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for preparation, running (printing of magazines and commercial work), fault finding of Web Offset printing presses. Preventative maintenance Maintain general health and safety standards in the production environment Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained Educational Requirements Matric or equivalent A relevant trade qualification In Lithography Web Offset or similar Experience Requirements A minimum of 3 years’ experience and expertise in a press web offset environment At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role Skills and Competencies Ability to work accurately under pressure Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated Aptitude for problem solving, along with an attention to detail Stress tolerant and deadline driven Computer Literate Time management Excellent production output
