Job Description: They are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Secretary to join their dynamic legal team. As a Litigation Secretary, you will play a crucial role in supporting our litigation department and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to litigation attorneys
- Draft and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
- Maintain and organize legal files and documents
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, hearings, and court appearances
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information
- Assist in trial preparation and court proceedings
- Manage attorney calendars and deadlines
Requirements:- At least 2 years recent experience as a Litigation Secretary or Legal Secretary
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures and court systems
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various legal suites
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
