We are hiring an Occupational Therapist in Blouberg, Western Cape. The Occupational Therapist in the step-down rehabilitation hospital will play a crucial role in helping patients overcome physical and cognitive challenges related to their daily lives and work. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting initial patient assessments, creating customized treatment plans, and teaching patients how to use adaptive technology to improve their abilities. You will also coach patients through therapeutic activities designed to increase their strength, mobility, and independence. Assess their physical, communication, and cognitive skills to develop personalized treatment plans that help them achieve their goals. providing advice and support to ensure my patients receive the best care possible helping patients take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances. Assist patients with exercise for pain relief and ensure their progress is reviewed regularly to adapt treatment accordingly. Keep detailed records, write reports, and make phone calls to ensure seamless care for my patients. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Proven experience in clinical Occupational Therapy Certified by the National Board for Certification. 2023 HPSCA registration ( Required ) Compliant with state healthcare regulatory requirements.
