LOGISTIC CUSTOMER LIAISON CLERK - Port Elizabeth

Logistic Customer Liaison Clerk required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in OEM Logistics / Warehouse (5 years)
  • Previous experience with exports
  • Should have thorough knowledge of the entire plant processes
  • Excellent attendance and Disciplinary record
  • Leadership skills
  • Computer literacy essential (MRP System – 4th Shift, Excel, Word)
  • Good decision making skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Perform reasonable ad hoc tasks / projects as requested by management
  • Act as a back-up for the Logistics Admin Clerk as and when necessary

Key Performance Areas

  • Extract customer delivery requirements from customer portals daily
  • Extract daily DCI’s and ensure daily picking and dispatching compliance
  • Validate reconciliation of disagreements daily on various portals
  • Check and updates releases daily as well as complete disputes daily on the necessary portals
  • Support with daily stock counts and update reconciliations daily
  • Generate delivery notes in Fourth Shift as required
  • Follow up on customer queries and resolve accordingly
  • Conduct filing of all shipping documentation and general housekeeping
