Logistic Customer Liaison Clerk required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape
Requirements:
- Previous experience in OEM Logistics / Warehouse (5 years)
- Previous experience with exports
- Should have thorough knowledge of the entire plant processes
- Excellent attendance and Disciplinary record
- Leadership skills
- Computer literacy essential (MRP System – 4th Shift, Excel, Word)
- Good decision making skills
- Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Perform reasonable ad hoc tasks / projects as requested by management
- Act as a back-up for the Logistics Admin Clerk as and when necessary
Key Performance Areas
- Extract customer delivery requirements from customer portals daily
- Extract daily DCI’s and ensure daily picking and dispatching compliance
- Validate reconciliation of disagreements daily on various portals
- Check and updates releases daily as well as complete disputes daily on the necessary portals
- Support with daily stock counts and update reconciliations daily
- Generate delivery notes in Fourth Shift as required
- Follow up on customer queries and resolve accordingly
- Conduct filing of all shipping documentation and general housekeeping
