As a Logistics Coordinator within the Agricultural industry, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in their logistics and supply chain management. You will be responsible for overseeing the movement of agricultural products, coordinating with suppliers and transportation providers, and ensuring that all operations are executed smoothly. Responsibilities Manage transportation activities for agricultural products, including scheduling and routing shipments according to client requirements Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries and accurate inventory management Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are on schedule and address any delays or issues that arise Assist in the negotiation of rates and agreements with transportation providers to achieve cost-effective solutions Prepare and analyze reports on transportation metrics, such as on-time performance and freight costs, specific to the agricultural industry Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing and customer service, to streamline logistics processes Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, such as agricultural licensing and safety requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the agricultural industry Strong knowledge of transportation operations, including routing, scheduling, and freight management Familiarity with specific requirements and regulations related to the transportation of agricultural products Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented mindset Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Benefits Salary: negotiable RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
