Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their agricultural team in Gauteng. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation, storage, and distribution of agricultural products to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:Plan and coordinate the transportation of agricultural products from farms to storage facilities or distribution centersMonitor and track the movement of products to ensure timely delivery and minimize shipping costsCommunicate with farmers, suppliers, and transportation providers to schedule pickups and deliveriesManage inventory levels and ensure that products are stored properly to maintain quality and freshnessHandle any shipping or transportation issues that may arise, such as delays or damaged goodsEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in the transportation and storage of agricultural productsAnalyze transportation and storage costs to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvementsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure smooth operationsRequirements: Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in the logistics environment (3 years).Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, shipping and import procedures would be advantageous.Strong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesKnowledge of transportation regulations and safety standardsProficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics softwareAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentValid driver's licenseBenefits:Salary: negotiablePaid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.Apply for this role today, contact Ashley Feldtmann at Hire Resolve or on LinkedInYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website or email us your CV: logisticshireresolve.za.com We will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
