Logistics Marketing Consultant / Sales Representative - Durban

Position overview:
Together with our client, a logistics company we are recruiting for a results-driven and customer focused Road Freight Sales Representative based in Pinetown, Durban to contribute to the growth and success of the business. The ideal candidate must have 4 - 5 years of sales/marketing experience in the road freight/logistics industry, a proven track record in sales, communication skills and a good understanding of the logistics industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Client acquisition:
• Identify and target potential clients in the designated sales territory
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to acquire new business
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients
Relationship management:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Collaborate with clients to understand their logistics needs and propose customised solutions
• Growing existing business and cross-selling with existing clients
• Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
Sales presentations and proposals:
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients
• Create detailed proposals outlining services, pricing and value propositions
Qualifications:
• Level 4 equivalent to standard 10 / grade 12 (non-negotiable)
• 4 - 5 years of sales/marketing experience in road freight/logistics
• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the logistics or transport industry
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Proficient in Microsoft office
Salary:
• +/- R 30 000.00 CTC per month
