Logistics Supervisor - Gauteng
Purpose The transport supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations on the company`s fleet. They ensure that all drivers follow proper safety processes, adhere to schedules and deliver on time. Academic Requirements/ Knowledge / Experience Grade 12 certificate or equivalent Minimum 1-2 years in the role Computer literate with sound working knowledge of car tracking systems Required competencies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Customer centric disposition Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-tasks Teamwork Timekeeping and planning Deadline driven and goal orientated Knowledge of basic mechanics, traffic laws of South Africa and area geographics advantageous Personal Attributes Professional, mature and of sober habits Honest, dependable, punctual and trustworthy Demonstrate good work ethic Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment Respectful team player Thrives under pressure Key Performance Areas Ensure license renewals of the fleet is done as required.
