- B-Tech degree in Electrical - Electronic Engineering or Similar recognized by ECSA
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in control system software development
- Understanding of control system communication networks
- Understanding of hydraulic control circuits
- Understanding of auto electric control circuits
- Understanding of digital control systems
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Ability to give daily project feedback to relevant person/s
- Good communication skill
- Good team working skills
- Good understanding of MS Office products
- Own transport
- Experience in mobile software development
- Understanding of trackless drivetrains.
- Experience within a trackless mining environment
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Project management capabilities
- Understanding of CAN bus systems
- Develop new control software for machines
- Updating and improvement of current control software
- Development of machine specific diagnostic interface programs for field service technicians
- Commissioning and fault finding on new machines
