Responsibilities:- Operate and monitor various machinery and equipment used in food and beverage production.
- Set up machinery according to production specifications and ensure proper calibration.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and achieve production targets.
- Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new machinery, processes, and safety procedures.
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in machinery operation or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a machine operator in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene and sanitation.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality control.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety and willingness to adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience operating specific machinery relevant to food and beverage production (e.g., filling machines, labeling machines, packaging equipment).
- Familiarity with computerized systems for machine operation and data entry.
- Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., FDA, HACCP).
- Additional certifications in machinery operation or food safety.
