CNC 3 and 4 axis machine setter/programmer and operator (5 MACHINES) We are looking for a highly motivated individual that is good at problem solving and can give support to less experienced operators on the workshop floor. Our company deals with a large variety of different items daily some highly specialized and some basic. Sectors, we work in are spares for mining, rail, dredging, power generation, shipping etc. Experience is the key word in this field and there will be a great responsibility as mistakes can't be made on these hight value jobs. We are not looking for a remote programmer you would need to be onsite permanently. We have two machine shops that need assistance. Some of our clients are, Weir minerals, Metso, Transnet, Sappi, KSB pumps, Saint Gobain, BHP Billiton, General Electric to name a few. Our clients are the best of the best so please no time wasters. We are looking for the best of the best Must be proficient in reading engineering drawing. On the job programming is essential. Candidate must be able to write programmes remotely, as well as on machining centres. Must be able to efficiently programme the machining of components. Mathematical knowledge is essential. Assist with design of fixtures for machining castings Set up and machine first off parts for approval to drawing Tool setting for production runs Implement changes as required to tooling and programming Complete production schedules on time as required Assist with keeping of production records Assist with keeping of machine maintenance records Must be able to use standard measuring equipment, Vernier, micro-meter etc Must be able to work under pressure Must be able to plan and execute jobs timeously. MIN 5 YEAR EXPERIENCE ON FANUC CNC CONTROL (4 AXIS MILLING MACHINES) RATE PER HOUR Normal as per Siefsa, Provident fund and half medical aid
