Job Title: Maintain for Reliability (M4R) Technician - Mining IndustryLocation: Gauteng, South AfricaRPO Recruitment's client is seeking a skilled Maintain for Reliability (M4R) Technician to join our team in the mining industry in Gauteng. The M4R Technician will be responsible for implementing and maintaining best practices for reliability and maintenance of equipment in the mining sector. This role will involve analyzing equipment performance data, identifying potential issues, and working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.Responsibilities:Implementing and managing the M4R program in the mining operationConducting root cause analysis of equipment failures and implementing corrective actionsDeveloping preventive maintenance plans and schedules for critical equipmentMonitoring equipment performance data and identifying trends and potential issuesCollaborating with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliabilityAssisting in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues as they ariseDocumenting maintenance activities, equipment performance data, and improvement opportunitiesRequirements:Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldMechanical or Electrical trade certificateMinimum 5 years’ experience as a trackless mobile machinery Artisan/ForemanRelevant experience in training delivery related to maintenance of TMM MachinesMinimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and reliability in the mining industryKnowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles and practicesExperience with condition monitoring technologies such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, and thermographyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesWillingness to work in a challenging and dynamic environmentBenefits:Salary: NegotiableFamily Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to RPO Recruitment at miningrporecruitment.usAlternatively, you are also welcome to contact Anzaan Kennedy on LinkedIn or call her on 021 180 0776.Please note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
