We want YOU to be part of our dynamic manufacturing team Our client is looking to employ a Maintenance Assistant RESPONSIBILITIES Receiving Bulk Emulsion Tankers Storing Housekeeping daily Maintenance of equipment Check equipment (e.g. Forklifts, pumps) as per his daily checklist Do planned, preventative maintenance and repairs. Ensure that any breakdowns are immediately attended to. Cleaning the hopper, the filter, the pipes Ensure at all time that machines are in working condition. Identify air leaks and repair immediately Ensure that Solar system is clean and in good working condition MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Matric is an advantage Minimum 2 - 3 years Maintenance Assistant / manufacturing experience Able to operate power tools Own transport is essential Good communication both verbal and written skills is essential Required to work overtime in the busy period Good technical skills
