Maintenance Engineering Supervisor - Port Elizabeth
Responsible for availability and maintenance of all equipment through-out the complete factory including assisting with facilities.
Faultfinding and technical support for Production and maintenance subordinates.
Responsible for the health and safety of subordinates and safety compliance of equipment.
Maintenance analysis of electrical related equipment (e.g. fault analysis and resolution, measures, improvement countermeasures, effectiveness verification, etc.) and on-site technical support
Asset care development and implementation.
Spare parts development and inventory management.
Manage maintenance tools inventory
Develop and implement equipment maintenance procedures and SOP`s.
Risk assessment development for equipment.
Training of production and new maintenance staff on equipment risks and safe operation.
Set up equipment maintenance outsourcing service providers
Responsible for the skills enhancement of the maintenance team, the development of annual training plans and the regular implementation of relevant professional training
Ensure construction quality and compliance according to government regulations.
Identify problems, snag list and ensure quality snag close-out.
Sign-off and handover of construction projects
Responsible for the health and safety of subordinates and the safety specification of equipment, carrying out risk assessments for facilities and equipment and maintaining and improving them.
Train production and new maintenance staff on production line risks and safe practices
Educational requirements
Trade tested. Electrical Engineering Degree or Diploma or equivalent
Experience requirements
More than 7 years working experience in equipment management in the automotive manufacturing industry or independent experience in electrical installation and commissioning of automatic production line equipment. Experience leading a maintenance team preferred ,Familiar with the experience of medium and high voltage substation and distribution, as well as familiar with various sensors, relay control circuits, inverters, electrical drawing, etc., solid knowledge of electrical expertise, familiar with electrical operation and maintenance knowledge, familiar with electrical safety standards and related laws and regulations, familiar with PLC, HMI and other programming software, familiar with common industrial robot programming, skilled operation of office automation software
