Cradock Area – Eastern Cape: Our client is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join the team. Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Agricultural Diploma / Degree advantageous Min of 4 years practical experience in this field farming background an advantage. Must be able to communicate in English or Afrikaans with Ability to speak IsiXhosa an advantage. Min of Code 8 driver’s license. Electrical understanding and maintenance (12V and 220V) will be advantageous. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Maintain and repair the necessary equipment for the functioning of the business, this will include, but not limited to Power production, Agrico and Centre 360 pivots and related pumps, 66 Delaval and Rockwood Rotary as well as a 36 Delaval Swing over (2 of), Tractors, trailers and equipment related to irrigation farming. Major services and repairs will be out sourced to relevant professional service providers with candidate managing the process. Maintenance of Farm buildings and houses will also be responsibility of candidate. Managing stock levels and parts, together with managing staff that are required for related job in a productive, safe and effective manner. ONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted.
