MAINTENANCE MANAGER - Cradock
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Agricultural Diploma / Degree advantageous
- Min of 4 years practical experience in this field
- farming background an advantage.
- Must be able to communicate in English or Afrikaans with
- Ability to speak IsiXhosa an advantage.
- Min of Code 8 drivers license.
- Electrical understanding and maintenance (12V and 220V) will be advantageous.
- Maintain and repair the necessary equipment for the functioning of the business, this will include, but not limited to
- Power production,
- Agrico and Centre 360 pivots and related pumps,
- 66 Delaval and Rockwood Rotary as well as a 36 Delaval Swing over (2 of),
- Tractors, trailers and equipment related to irrigation farming.
- Major services and repairs will be out sourced to relevant professional service providers with candidate managing the process.
- Maintenance of Farm buildings and houses will also be responsibility of candidate.
- Managing stock levels and parts, together with managing staff that are required for related job in a productive, safe and effective manner.
