Area: stellenbosch Term: permanent Experience: 3 years Salary: neg Closing Date: neg Starting Date: neg Reference Code: slvd-24-16 we are currently looking for an experienced maintenance manager who can plan, execute and document maintenance in the wine cellar and office premises. the position focuses primarily on the cellar and equipment. your key responsibilities will include (but not limited to) people management – manage maintenance team, train, develop and motivate. set objectives and goals, conduct performance reviews. production and budget – follow correct procedures to ensure that the cellar runs at optimum production rates. provide forecasting estimates to assist with budget. audits – responsible for ensuring department completes all relevant documents and executions admin – excellent record keeping (health and safety, iso, job cards) financial – ensuring everything is done correctly and efficiently to minimise costs whilst maximising departmental efficiency and effectiveness environmental – educate and train team members on effluent water quality, recycling of waste and electricity and water saving initiatives requirements 2-3 years relevant experience must have knowledge of haccp, iso 22 000, sqa minimum formal qualifications: 5-10 years relevant experience or tertiary qualification from acknowledged institution
