LOCATION: RUSTENBURG, NW The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning work in SAP PM for the smelter rebuild construction projects and for work that will be executed in Operations on other shutdowns. This role involves ensuring that all planning is done in accordance with current Anglo SAP PM standard and will be integrated into existing system. •Physical Requirement: -Certificate of fitness and ability to work in challenging conditions typical of smelter sites. •SHE Requirement -Site Specific Induction •Additional Requirements: -Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. -Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as necessary to meet project deadlines Key Responsibilities: •SAP PM Setup: -Implement the structure to allow work for project team to be planned in SAP PM. Work Centre's, Cost Centre's, Maintenance plans etc. •Team Leadership: -Lead, mentor, and guide the project team on the transition of utilizing SAP PM in projects and for ad hoc work -Attend regular team meetings to communicate project goals, updates, and safety protocols. -Assess team performance and provide training and development opportunities as needed. •Technical Oversight: -Track compliance towards submission and capturing of work into SAP PM -Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the rebuild process. -Continuously improve the system and setup to streamline the adherence to SAP PM. •Safety and Compliance: -Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. -Conduct regular safety audits and inspections and address any identified hazards promptly. -Ensure compliance with all codes and standards relevant to smelter rebuilds construction projects. •Quality Control: -Implement quality assurance measures to ensure all paperwork is completed to the highest standard. -Review submission of approved work completed by team members. -Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. •Reporting and Documentation: -Prepare detailed reports on implementation progress and team performance. -Maintain system -Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and regulatory bodies. -Report on own Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). •Governance -Contribute to project audits with regards to policies, procedures, and systems. Capabilities Required to do the Role: -Minimum of 5 years of experience in an SAP PM role within the smelter or heavy industrial sector. -Strong leadership and team management abilities. -In-depth knowledge of SAP PM systems and setup of AAP Standards on SAP PM -Experience in MS Project will be beneficial -Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. •Qualifications: -Grade 12 -Trade in engineering or Pragma planner trade qualification or Maintenance planner certificate Market Related.
