Summary of role: Oversee and lead maintenance procedures in a company. Responsible for developing maintenance procedures and ensuring the implementation throughout their plant. Carry out inspections of the plant and identify any problems which may arise. Reporting on machines. Ensure all machines are working. Ensure machines are kept to optimal condition. Enforce that all job cards are completed and updated properly. Communicate to Manager of any issues on machine to prevent any unnecessary down time. Ensure Artisans complete work in a professional manner with no shortcuts. Train and assist Artisans to provide them with the knowledge required to repair machine to the best of their abilities. Ensure Artisans are working to a high efficiency. Obtaining quotations. Audit machines. Ensuring critical spares required is kept on stock. Ensure check sheets on tools are done. Enforce strict discipline on workshop cleanliness. Ensure incident reports are done if machine is damaged. Assist with large maintenance changes on machines. Maintaining a clean and environmentally safe work area. Performing other related duties as assigned. Ensure that housekeeping rules are adhered to. Ensure all equipment's and machines are place in the right place when not used. Ensure that all machines and equipment's are up to working standards Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances. Ensure that the work area is free from hazards and hazardous activities. Be aware of, and communicate to superior, any potential or actual failures to meet service level requirements.
