My client is seeking a dynamic and driven Management Accountant to join their team and play a pivotal role in their company's financial management. If you're passionate about numbers and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you As a Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for a diverse range of tasks aimed at ensuring the financial health and success of the organization.This role is based in Pretoria East. Duties: Daily Reporting and Analysis: Dive into the financial data daily, analyzing targets and trends to provide valuable insights to drive decision-making at all levels of the organization. Collaboration with Department Heads: Work closely with department heads to understand their financial needs and provide support and guidance to help them achieve their goals. Coordinating Monthly Reporting and Budgeting: Take charge of the monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecast processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness every step of the way. Managing Back-Office Services: Oversee critical back-office functions such as accounts payable, collections, and payroll, ensuring efficiency and compliance at all times. Monitoring Cash Flow: Keep a close eye on the cash flow, identifying opportunities for improvement and proactively managing any challenges that may arise. Liaising with Accounting Teams: Collaborate with the accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company and accounting standards. Assist in managing financial accounting systems and ensuring revenue recognition aligns with company and accounting standards. Perform monthly reconciliations and effectively manage receivables and payables to minimize risk. Produce accurate financial reports and provide insightful analysis to support decision-making. Ensure compliance with statutory accounting and tax obligations, including assistance with company tax returns and VAT/PAYE calculations. Participate in budgeting processes, monitor cash flows, and maintain key internal controls to safeguard the companys’ financial health. Provide support for special projects and contribute to strategic business planning initiatives. Job Experience and Skills Required: Completed degree in Management Accounting CGMA/CIMA qualification will be preferrable Minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in a similar role In-depth understanding of operational finance If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
