This hands-on role demands a comprehensive grasp of operational finance. They are on the lookout for an individual with superb analytical prowess, responsible for various financial tasks including budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, management reporting, tax, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate should excel in identifying financial trends, analyzing outcomes, and overseeing general ledger processing and bank transactions. As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for the following: Assist in overseeing financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems. Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with company and accounting standards. Conduct monthly reconciliation of designated balance sheet accounts. Review and manage accounts receivable effectively. Control payables to mitigate company risk. Produce precise financial reports within specified deadlines. Analyze financial results and trends, interpreting financial information from current and past operations, trends, costs, revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred. Furnish financial and statistical data to internal and external stakeholders to support decision-making. Provide insights on the financial well-being of the organization. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations, including statutory accounting and tax matters. Offer strong tax expertise and assist with company tax returns. Aid in calculating and filing company taxes, including VAT and PAYE. Assist in preparing annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS for SMEs. Participate in monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, managing budgets effectively. Monitor and forecast cash flows and predict future trends. Maintain and support assigned key internal controls effectively. Contribute to special projects as needed. Contribute to strategic and long-term business plans. Secure new sources of finance for the company's debt facilities.
