Reference: JHB007306-CW-1 Manufacturing/ mining concern, based in Alberton, is looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate would be young, dynamic and driven. Qualifications and experience: Matric Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 1-3 years' experience in a similar position Accounting Processing and Financial Reporting systems knowledge, exposure and experience Duties include but are not limited to: Reviewing and approving purchase orders, order entries and shipment costings Approving debtor invoices Assist with debtor queries and collections Reviewing debtors and creditors month end processing Preparing financial forecasts Oversee Supplier database systems Cashflow projections Approving COD payments Inventory management with site Fixed asset management Monthly processing up to trial balance Expenditure analysis Compiling and presenting of financial reports Job costing and quoting Compiling and submitting documents for approval - SARS Managing contract escalations Analysing and monitoring contract performance BBBEE Planning and compiling documents for BBBEE audits Peer management accounts review Assist auditors with annual audit requirements and information Other ad-hoc tasks required per FM Skills and abilities: Leadership and problem-solving skills Ability to work on own initiative & time management Mathematical proficiency & attention to detail Analytical ability and interpersonal skills Knowledge of Microsoft packages Able to work collaboratively in a team setting Good written and verbal communication skills Own transport essential R35 000 - Monthly
