Responsible for capex and credit control as well as strengthening the internal control environment. The ideal candidate would be responsible for: • The preparation of capital expenditure motivations; • Monitoring and following up capital spending; • Credit function, overseeing the Credit Controller and annual customer reviews; • Being the champion of the internal control environment and conformance with company policies; • Running of the self-audit programme and giving recommendations for improvements to internal controls; • Review and release payments; • Being the back up for the Financial Accountant in stock taking teams; • Processing of price changes and credit notes; • Monthly reporting requirements; • Any other duties and tasks as assigned by management from time to time. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements: • Relevant financial qualification and/or experience; • Audit experience is essential; • Must be computer literate and have excellent communication skills; • Team management skills. • Computer literate; Microsoft Office Suite and Syspro experience • Team Player • Good work ethic • Proactive, able to work independently • Follow procedures and instructions timeously and accurately • High level of accuracy, motivation and commitment to service excellence • You may be required to work overtime from time to time
