Update commitment schedule based on verified documentation Accurate and complete commitment schedule. Tracing Discretionary Grant recipients Reduced DG Commitment balance Financial Reporting Maintenance of the commitment schedule and commitment note to the AFS. Daily update of commitment schedule based on statuses and documentation obtained during confirmation visit Register with new applications. Internal Controls and Risk Management Monitoring of progress on the implementation of Auditor General’s recommendations. Reduction in overall audit findings. Efficient document management. Achievement and Management of the Unit’s Work Plans Implement risk management strategies in the Unit. Manage compliance to policies and procedures of the Unit. Qualification National Diploma (NQF 6), bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7), or equivalent qualification in Financial Management, Accounting or Auditing Experience 5 years working finance/accounting/auditing experience of which 3 must be in a supervisory position. Proven knowledge of project financial management Skills and Knowledge Strategic Thinking Policy & Procedural Development/ Implementation Systems/ Process Development & Enhancement Program/ Portfolio Management Ethical Leadership Project Accounting Financial Integrity & Compliance Risk Management & Mitigation Compliance Management Policy Implementation & Enforcement Contract Management & Administration Between 3 - 5 Years
