My client is on the lookout for a talented individual to fill the position of Manager, Credit Administrator at their renowned bank in Kenya. Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to Credit Governance across subsidiaries Compile Key Credit Admin performance metrics for management review. Review procedures across subsidiaries, identify gaps, and harmonize processes. Coordinate standardization of legal-approved facility letters across subsidiaries. Periodically review Key performance metrics for escalation Management. Develop mechanisms for proactive tracking of expiry of limits, collateral documents, and other key items. Consolidate and champion standardization of Risk Registers across subsidiaries. Follow up on outstanding Audit and Compliance issues for timely closure. Compile and share best practices/ lessons learned across subsidiaries. Provide support to subsidiaries on credit-administration related matters. Act as the group Credit Risk Champion in embedding a strict Risk Culture. Skills Required: Good understanding of Credit Risk. Credit Monitoring skills. Understanding of Credit Policy and lending Policies. High attention to detail. High level of analytical and negotiation skills. Presentation and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS packages. Good organizational skills. Ability to handle pressure, conflicting priorities, and manage constant changes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, finance, or accounting. Professional Banking or Accountancy qualifications (e.g., AKIB/ACIB CPA, ACCA, or CFA) will be an added advantage. 15 years of Credit experience, with 5 years in Credit Administration. Ability to interpret financial and legal documents.
