Large Meat Processing Plant require an Operations Manager who has a related three year qualification in Food Sciences or similar and at least 5 years in a similar position, implementing SHEQ policies and ensuring company production and QA policies are adhered to and shrinkage of stock is at a minimum. The successful applicant will initially be required to work night shift, ensuring that shift changes are controlled and incident free. Experience in the meat industry is essential, as is a sound knowledge of Health and Environmental regulations using ISO45001, ISO14000 and occupational Health and Safety Act, implementation of SANS10330, and HACCP for the products handled on site.
