Reference: EL002680-Glyni-1We are seeking a Manager : Security Risk Management, for a 3-month fixed term contract (15 day working month), based in East London, Eastern Cape. Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Specialized training with certificates in security and intelligence services 10 years relevant experience in security and intelligence services 5 years experience in security management at middle management level Deep understanding of threats & risk assessments advantageous Experience working in a public sector / government environment The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Setting up a security advisor services dept – facilitate establishment; formulate consolidated strategy; develop relationships; ensure compliance; develop policy/framework Stakeholder relations / strategic partnerships – identify key partners; act as point of contact; ensure participation in relevant security coordination structures Develop / implement vetting strategy – identify critical areas; advise/guide on statutory requirements; acquire tools & systems for vetting/screening; conduct security appraisals Specialist advise and recommendations to committees and stakeholders – participate in various committees / subcommittees Salary: R60 000.00 per month (15 days working month) for the 3-month contract duration Please email detailed CV and supporting documentation and salary requirements through to glynisbsheldon.colza with “Manager – Security Risk” in the subject lineIf you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful R60 000.00 - Monthly plus for the fixed term contract, 15 day working month
