Manager - Security Risk Management, 3-month FTC, 15 day working month, East London - - East London

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Specialized training with certificates in security and intelligence services
10+ years relevant experience in security and intelligence services
5 years experience in security management at middle management level
Deep understanding of threats & risk assessments advantageous
Experience working in a public sector / government environment

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Setting up a security advisor services dept facilitate establishment; formulate consolidated strategy; develop relationships; ensure compliance; develop policy/framework
Stakeholder relations / strategic partnerships identify key partners; act as point of contact; ensure participation in relevant security coordination structures
Develop / implement vetting strategy identify critical areas; advise/guide on statutory requirements; acquire tools & systems for vetting/screening; conduct security appraisals
Specialist advise and recommendations to committees and stakeholders participate in various committees / subcommittees

Salary: R60 000.00 per month (15 days working month) for the 3-month contract duration
