Manage relationships with outsourced manufacturers to ensure adherence to quality standards and performance metrics. Oversee and direct the manufacturing operations team to attain production targets, maintain quality standards, and achieve cost objectives. Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aimed at streamlining processes, enhancing efficiency, and minimizing waste. Spearhead continuous improvement endeavors by employing Lean principles and other industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure smooth production operations. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective measures as needed to meet or surpass targets. Ensure compliance with pertinent health, safety, and environmental regulations. Cultivate a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation within the operations department. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing management, ideally within the automotive or electronics sector. Demonstrated success in managing outsourced manufacturing partners to deliver high-quality products within specified timelines and budgets. Strong leadership capabilities, inspiring and motivating teams to accomplish goals and objectives. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, employing a data-driven approach to decision-making. Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and lean manufacturing principles. Proficiency with ERP systems, production planning software, and other manufacturing tools and technologies. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration across diverse functions and cultures.
