Materials Planner - Food Production Industry - Johannesburg

Hire Resolve's client, a well-established food production company based in Johannesburg, is seeking a skilled Materials Planner to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective planning and coordination of materials to ensure smooth production operations. Responsibilities: Create and maintain material requirements plans to meet production schedules Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement of materials as needed Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials Analyze demand and forecast accuracy to optimize material planning Coordinate with production teams to ensure that materials are available when needed Manage and update databases of inventory levels, materials, and suppliers Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in material availability Review and evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for improvement Requirements Drivers license and own car BBusSc / BCom in Supply Chain Strong understanding of materials planning and inventory management principles Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in using material planning software and ERP systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Benefits Salary: R240K/yr - R278K/yr, negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
