An exciting opportunity exists for a Nutritionist at Meadow Feeds Standerton to join our team. The ideal candidate would be responsible for: Feed formulations; Manage the nutrition/technical department and on-site laboratory; Product performance, quality and traceability including Salmonella program, sample management and Farm Feed Act; Liaison with sales department, key customers, industry bodies and other stakeholders; Ensure compliance with all quality procedures and all QA system The successful candidate must meet the following requirements: A minimum BSc Agriculture in animal nutrition (preferably Monogastric) and a Post-graduate experience in nutrition would be an advantage; Have a minimum of 5 years work experience, preferably in a managerial capacity; Have a working knowledge and understanding of the FORMAT formulation system; Computer literate with MS Office experience, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; Good communication and interpersonal skills; Assertive, self-motivated and quality driven; Excellent analytical and numerical skills; Personal and professional integrity; Converse fluently in both English and Afrikaans; A valid code 08 driver’s licence.
