Reference: Cen000347-E-1 Meat Picker - FMCG / Food Transport Industry - Kempton Park REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS: Gaining an understanding of the client's needs and requirements and communicating them and the quality standards to the butchery teams. Devising ways to improve the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality goods. Devising, improving, and reviewing new specifications and procedures for products or processes, and training staff to use them. Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines. Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards. Inspecting the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approving or rejecting the final products. Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis. Ensure that the Baobab Product Manual is STRICTLY followed without compromise Ensure that the products are kept cool and cold during storage. Every attempt must be used to keep the products fresh and cold before and during delivery Ensure that the products are fresh and not surpassing their expiry Order products not stored by Baobab directly from suppliers Assist with deliveries of any kind Assist with refuge removal and safety and health standards Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat, and well-organized. Picking, wrapping, and moving products to fill individual customer order Keep picking equipment and containers clean, ensuring they fit the products being delivered Picking orders as requested by management and ensure that the exact product and qty and weight is picked and allocated to the corresponding order and ensuring the Baobab Product Manual is strictly adhered to as well as every health and safety policy. Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area. Weigh individual packages prior to delivery to ensure they meet weight specifications Monitor inventory levels to determine need for stock replacement Label or mark containers with identifying information such as client name and address Ensure compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and adhere to established government laws and company policies/practices. Perform physical activities such as loading, unloading, and sorting of goods at storage Pack and repack orders in accordance with weighing instructions and read material orders and comply with verbal instructions for work assignments. Repack, relabel, and assess each product that gets returned from a customer or supplier to ensure that the health and safety standard as well as baobab policies are strictly followed. Assisting in maintaining security of butchery. R 6000 - R 6500 - Monthly
