Métier Mixed Concrete
LOCATION Durban – Phoenix QUALIFICATION Minimum Grade 12 / N2, preferably N3 or higher technical qualification and National Qualification preferred. Trade Test / National Qualification preferred. Code EC or C (Code 14) Driver’s license preferred. EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years of concrete pumps and hydraulics experience essential Auto-electrical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge/experience preferred. SKILLS Applicants must have the following: Sound verbal, written, and telephonic communication skills in English. Technical aptitude Precise and accurate nature, as well as attention to detail and deadline orientated. Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. Ability and willingness to work irregular and extended hours. OTHER Applicants may be required to work extended /irregular hours MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS The incumbent will be required to perform various tasks inherent to the position such as: General maintenance of concrete truck mixers, mixer units, concrete pump trucks, and wheel loaders Ensuring that scheduled daily and monthly maintenance is done on concrete truck mixers, mixer units, concrete pump trucks, and wheel loaders. Maintaining hydraulic systems Maintenance of fixed plant / batching plants, where required.
