Our esteemed client is seeking a skilled and proactive Mechanical Design Engineer to join their ranks. Develop designs within project parameters, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and project objectives.Create comprehensive drawings adhering to recognized manufacturing standards.Compile precise part specifications, Bills of Materials (BOMs), production orders, and manuals.Execute engineering change proposals (ECPs) to enhance design efficacy.Maintain and update manufacturing drawings, material lists, and machinery manuals with necessary revisions.Facilitate the layout drawing of customer manufacturing areas.Draft detailed Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).Offer technical support throughout manufacturing processes and on-site assistance for technicians.Skills & Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in machine design and manufacturing.Proficiency with CAD software, with at least 2 years' practical experience.Strong computer literacy, including MS Word, MS Excel, and 2D CAD applications.Demonstrated competence in 3D CAD machine design.Ability to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative team environment.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.Qualification:BEng/BTech/NDip in Mechanical Engineering Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.Contact CAELLI PENTZ on 021 418 1750, quoting the Ref: CTE025139.Connect with us on www.communicate.co.za and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Engineering recruitment vacancies.
