Hire Resolve is partnering with a well-established trailer manufacturing company in Heidelberg that is seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsman to join their team. As a Mechanical Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and models for the development and manufacturing of trailers. Responsibilities: Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements. Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and models using CAD software. Ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards and specifications. Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams to address any design-related issues and provide technical support. Update and modify existing drawings and models as needed. Conduct quality checks on drawings and models to verify accuracy and completeness. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical drafting and design. Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the trailer industry. Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and drafting standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Experience with trailer design and knowledge of trailer components is a plus.
